3/6: Instruments - IFH Chapter 5, Flight Instruments
3/11: Navigation - IFH Chapter 2, Air Traffic Control System, Chapter 9 Navigation Systems
3/13: Low IFR Charts - IFH Chapter 10 IFR Flight
3/18: Weather Theory - IFH Chapter 2, Air Traffic Control System, IFH Chapter 10 IFR Flight
3/20: Weather Services - IFH Chapter 10 IFR Flight
3/25: Holding - IFH Chapter 10 IFR Flight
3/27: Approach Plates - IFH Chapter 10 IFR Flight
4/1: Approach Lights/SIDS/STAR - PHAK Ch. 12 Weather Theory, PHAK Ch. 13 Weather Services
4/3: Flight Planning - IFH Chapter 10 IFR Flight, Bring some way to plan a flight (laptop or iPad)
4/8: ADM/Emergency Procedures -AOPA Air Safety institute YouTube Channel, IFH Chapter 3, Human Factors
4/10: Review Day — Practice problems, make-up day
Price and requirements:
Price for school: $650 Price for supplies (optional): $195
Requirements:
- Private Pilot Certificate (you can take the class without it but you will not be able to get the rating or take the test).
-Current 3rd Class medical (same as above).
- A tablet with ForeFlight. Preferably an Ipad mini that can support the software and cellular capability, no cellular subscription necessary.
